Sometimes writing a poem
is like molding clay:
at the kitchen table
hair scattered
I add and remove
just poem under my fingernails.
And sometimes
i m p o s s i b l e
– it would be easier to sew clouds together.

on kuin savea muovaisi:
keittiön pöydän ääressä
tukka hajalla
lisään ja poistan
kynnenaluset runoa täynnä.
Joskus taas
m a h d o t o n t a
– sama olisi parsia pilviä yhteen.
